Steinhart is a familiar name to those of us who have been interested in affordable watches over the last several years. When we were first getting into this world, their watches offered a lot of bang for the buck, and looked good too, as they were largely homage watches or recreations of classic styles, like fliegers and marines. Hi guys I was considering buying my wife a watch, now decided to go the quartz route instead of automatic from your guys great advice. She not a watch nut and might not wear daily and I can see my self setting it for her regularly. Any feed back on breitling quartz? was looking at the galactic 32. Whats the longevity for quartz? are they easy to have fix? thank you all for your great feedback.

New Liquid Ocean
My first post so hello everyone. Joined this forum as I wanted to buy a Rolex as my first high end watch.But after looking around this Omega thread I was mightily impressed with the new Omegas especially the PO,s. Was on the verge of buying Rolex when I ventured into my local Omega AD and what did I see.. A brand new Liquid Ocean. They had been waiting one year for it and it only recently arrived. Nothing I have seen lately ( and I have seen pretty much everything up to my price point ) comes close to this. I am well happy as I thought they would all be gone..... Would post pics but my blackberry did not do the watch justice I,m afraid. to clarify. Managed to source a brand new PO Liquid Ocean 42mm LE for a great price too...

1990's Patek Calatravas
I got assigned a new attorney from my work and my attorney has a Patek Calatrava from when he graduated law school. The Patek was given as a gift from his father for graduating law school. He allowed me to wear his watch on for a picture for the forum. Gorgeous watch!

Patek 5726A?
Spent some time today with this:Loving it... Can't get it out of my mind... I had been considering a rolex skydweller but you just can't compare. The 5726 is far ahead with the moon phase, day display, clear caseback, extra strap included (to name a few advantages)...Thoughts? Wait for the 5960/1A to make sure I won't have any regrets? Thanks much.
