Watches NEWS
My first ROO need help.
I am looking to purchase my first AP ROO and I could use some help. I would like the case in the 41-43mm range and prefer a rubber or alligator etc. bracelet. I am open on dial and it does not have to be the chronograph. I would like to keep the budget between 10k-15k please help educate me on the best values out there for me. Also resale value is a big consideration. Thank you for the help.

Does the 5496p-001 (silver dial) have the Spiromax balance spring?
I see on Patek's website that the 5496p-014 (honey brown dial) has the Spiromax balance spring, but I can't seem to confirm if the 5496p-001 (discontinued silver dial) has it as well. Does anyone know? Are there any (other) updates in the 5496p-014 vs. the 5496p-001?Many thanks in advance.
Guessing
So my wife and I went into a local sub shop yesterday after mass to grab a sandwich before a hike. On the way in I noticed a Bentley Convertible. As I walked in I started trying to guess who was driving the Bentley. As I was walking to my seat i noticed a youngish guy wearing a 36mm white dial DD and told my wife that is the one. Sure enough he was the one....what is it about nice watches going with nice rides?
Rolex 16550 1991 Service Dial
Hi, trying to get some info on a ROLEX Explorer 2, bought in 1991, but dated 1998. It has the fat font bezel, full Rolex service in 2008 but the dial is very white and has 'Swiss Made' in the bottom. From other watches i've seen most have the Swiss T <25 dial.Does this mean that the watch has a service dial??Presume that lowers the cost!
