De Bethune DB25 Dead Beat Tourbillon Regulator Watch
I will repeat to you the words that I recently told De Bethune's CEO. There are expensive watches that I really appreciate and know that I would strongly consider getting them if I had the money. Then there is De Bethune, that actually makes me angry I cannot afford it." I've written about De Bethune a bit over the years - not having too much experience with the pieces. But recently I was fortunate enough to finally meet with the boutique Swiss brand and experience the magic.Like a handful of other brands out there, De Bethune is a brand that even the most seasoned and mature watch lovers and collectors are extremely fond of. They simply do things others cannot. Their designs are out of this world, and their mechanics are brilliant, functional, and drop-dead gorgeous to admire. These watches are a dream - and funny enough one of their pieces is actually called "The Dream Watch."2011 sees the DB25 - an interesting timepiece that plays with the tourbillon in a new way. Unlike some of De
Omega Planet Ocean 42 Gray Ceramic
Model # 232.30.42.21.01.001Anyone have a wrist shot or ownership comments. I'm worried about the thickness... I've been shopping for one and a few people on TRF that have them haven't been all that helpful. I wanted to put two Omega's toward one with cash and get down to one watch..Thanks
Houston "the Omega has landed"!! 45th Anniversary SpeedMaster Pro
Well it's finally here. I placed an order for this a while ago and yesterday I got the call.It is a stunning watch (my pictures do not do it justice) the colours are beautiful. It is very light on the wrist (as you would expect being largely Titanium)The dial lettering and minute markers stand out from the dial and in certain lights, glisten. A result of the laser cutting process. The box is huge, very heavy. Matt black with a slight rubberised feel to the touch. The pink gold plated hinges are a nice detail as is the lunar backdrop inside the lid which is really cool. The certificate is a nice touch with silver leaf edging. The only thing which (for me) detracts from the watch is the strap. Its far too long for a normal wrist and has to be doubled back on itself. It causes the strap to look odd sticking out to one side of the wrist. As nice as it is this watch cries out for a leather strap or better a Titanium bracelet.Enjoy the pictures
Very nice gifts from my Boodles AD
I choose a list of gifts when Boodles AD provide me a list of gifts to choose. I receive the box today. I am so surprise when I open the box. I see many gifts. I real love my AD. Boodles AD is the best AD for me.20150417_144532.jpg20150417_144734.jpg20150414_005628.jpg20150417_145748.jpg
SubC and BLNR
Hi everyone,I'm new to the forum and very much enjoy the great content on here. I bought my first Rolex a 116610ln back in July from an AD, still absolutely love it but I've got a craving for more!! I'm really drawn to the BLNR although I'm worried its too similar to my sub, after asking the opinion of a few friends they have backed up this opinion, none of them are into watches may I add. What do you guys think? ThanksOllie
