Tiffany & Co. Watches Do Not Shine In 2010
For the most part I have great admiration for the watches that Tiffany & Co. has sold over the years. For a while, they combined their inventory with personally branded watches and ones from brands such as Rolex and Patek Philippe. Tiffany & Co. branded watches from the 1990's for example were very cool. I wrote a lot about the famous Streamerica watch designed by Jorg Hysek (you can search for it here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer to the right, as I have written about it several times), and I personally reviewed a Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 Automatic watch here. Tiffany & Co. was very quiet about their watch operation. Little media, and more or less merely relied on in-store foot traffic to notice their watches. Watches were made and designed by outside partners, while in-house people at Tiffany curated the designs and styles. Then a few years ago the Swatch Group wiggled its way in deeper to Tiffany & Co.'s watch making arm. This ROO look legit?
I did try on the ROO model below this week and really liked the look. Does the one below for sale look legit? This would be my first foray into AP...Like the ROO and RO (15202/15300/15400) models (6.5in wrist)...just looking to buy right. I see ROOs take a hit and take longer to sell (i tend to flip). Also has anyone gotten close to trusted seller discounts on a 15400 at an AD/boutique? Im assuming no discounts on a 15202.TIA!https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=531842Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
For your viewing Pleasure- 39mm VS 41mm Royal Oak Rose Gold Chronograph
Recently Acquired Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 39MM. This watch is truly beautiful and compares very closely to the 41mm. I also took some pictures of a Daytona so you can see the difference in size- very minimal if you ask me. Comfort wise I think my wrist better suits me with the 39mm. Too bad this one is going to my friend:( maybe I can convince him to take the 41mm
Just tried on royal oak
No comparison to rolex, the feel the fit, it's perfect. What does everyone think about the size, I feel a bit large..
