I'm assuming there's not much to be done here but...When I remove three links it's too tight...When I remove two links it's way too loose...When I substitute a link with a 1.5 link it's still too loose...I must fit exactly between a half-link and a full link. Due to no micro-adjustment I'm struggling to get a really comfortable fit. Anything I'm missing here?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Fair Market Value for this vintage Seamaster DeVille?
I was browsing the auctions and came across what I think is a beautiful vintage Seamaster. I'm wondering if the Omega experts here can suggest a FMV on this watch. Of course I pay 15% Buyer's Premium + dreaded 13% sales tax on this. I'm going to do my homework now and see if I can get any price discovery on this watch through past sales. There should be 4 rows of 5 watches at this page. It's the bottom row, 2nd from left. Let me know if this link isn't working for some reason.toronto.empireauctions/au...keywords=watch
Has anyone brought home a 5711/1A-011 (White dial Nautilus) yet?
Hi allNew here. Saw quite a few discussion on the white dial Nautilus and quite a few have actually tried them on. Have tried to find it at my local ADs, and grey-dealers are not willing to unseal them for try on.Very much love an owner's review and opinion (if any). Whoever who had tried it on and considered buying it and end up not doing it, any particular reason.Personally, I like the blue dial for it's history, the way it change colour. Similarly, like the white dial for it's freshness and the way it make the watch looks younger. And the worse part is thinking what if they release the black/grey dial (as in the one on 5726) on the Nautilus next year. Any thoughts, opinion is more than welcome.
Does placing a special order with AD work timely?
I'm ready to add a Hulk to my collection, and for what it is worth, I've wanted the LV long before it became the big thing. Now that I have funds in hand ready to go, I've contacted several AD's about being added to their wait list, and they have all encouraged me to special order the Hulk through them. One AD specifically told me today ..The best option, and the one I would recommend if you know with absolute certainty that this watch is the one you want, is to come in and place a special order for it, at which point we would order that watch specifically for you. Our most recent wait times for the green dial Submariner have been about 3-6 months, but Rolex does generally prioritize filling paid orders.Does anyone here have experience with placing a special order, high demand Rolex here in the U.S.? Did the AD deliver? What kind of time frame did it take? I really appreciate any help. Oh, and for whatever it's worth, I am not willing to pay a reseller a price over MSRP.
Three months in!
And still loving it. So timeless. Wanted it for a long time, found it on chance at an AD. Number 2 incoming next week!
