Introduction To Stranger Watch Company
Sponsored PostThe Stranger Watch Company Thoroughbred Collection dates back to the early '80s, to the city of Taraz, Kazakhstan C a city with a 2000-year history, one of the main stops on The Great Silk Way, and the city where Stranger Watch Company founder Jahn Karsybaev grew up. Karsybaev's uncle owned a horse ranch and his primary business was domesticating wild horses. He would turn wild animals into these beautiful galloping horses, most of which would later take part in Equestrian and Polo events. Growing up, Jahn visited his uncle's ranch every summer and was truly amazed by these elegant yet powerful creatures. The most amazing part was seeing the transformation process of wild stallions turned into graceful horses. This was quite an inspiration, and he really wanted to pay tribute to that in some shape or form, and this watch collection was a perfect opportunity to do so. The Stranger Thoroughbred Collection includes 4 distinct models: Akhal Teke, Andalusian, Mangalarga, Oldenb
AP Help
Hi Everyone, i'm new to this forum and wanted to log on to ask some Q's about a AP Panda. I currently wear a Panerai Pam 312 & i'm looking to get a AP but i'm not sure if it'll fit me.So i tried on the AP Diver & the 44mm ROO (both with the rubber band) and they fit me good, however the panda is not a buckle strap so it fits very awkwardly. Does anyone know if i can change the band on it to make it a buckle type band? I know i can get the rubber band on the Diver to fit the Panda, but what if i want a leather band? Does AP sell any buckle leather bands that'll fit the Panda, and does anyone else with a small wrist have trouble with these no buckle bands? Thanks for the help in advance guys. Here are some photos of the watches on my wrist, i think the Diver looks the best (and i believe the diver and panda are the same size).
Accuracy??
What type of accuracy to you guys/gals expect on your watches? These watches are all about 3-4 weeks old. I am using the iPhone app Twixt, and these were last week's measurements:
Q: Buying a GMT BLNR pre-Basel?
I'm going to buy a BLNR as my next watch. I love GMTs. Rolex makes the best GMTs in my judgment. I have always loved the black and blue bezel. I have the opportunity to buy from a TS at what I consider a fair price. With that as context, is it mistake to buy this week in the context of a potential upgrade to the 3235 movement? What are the puts and takes - and any other considerations?
How soon after Baselworld do the new Rolex...
Watch models usually arrive in the stores? Is it within a few weeks or a few months? Thanks!
