J. Crew Military Watch By Timex Watch Review On AskMen.com
This was honestly not the easiest watch to review. You think it would be simple, but you basically have a limited edition Timex that you are talking about - made for J. Crew of all places (watch style incarnate right?). Regardless of these surface level facts, is a lot more to this watch than meets the eye. You first need to understand a bit about it, and what went in to it. Timex was called upon by J. Crew to design a classic looking military watch that could fall smack-dab in the center of an Americana photo-mosaic. Like stylish jeans, the watch was meant to look pre-vintaged. Like your Vietnam veteran relative worn it during the last two months of their tour of duty, brought it home, put it in a tin box, and then handed it to you after all this time - in good condition by aged. The J. Crew Timex Military vintage style watch does have a value in today's America, especially because it is a product of today's America.Read my limited edition J. APRO cleaning
Hi folks,I was wondering how do you guys clean your APROs. All of them are rated at 50m. This sounds like a silly question but I'm used to cleaning my Rolex with toothbrush and soap under the sink every few weeks. I am a bit hesitant with the ROs. I am referring to 15300 and 15400.Any advice? I have a less than year old 15400 which I just cleaned two days ago same like the Rolex and it was fine. How about older ones. Like 2-3 year old? Would you risk it without a water test? Thanks for the advice.Cheers.
Finally made the purchase, and love it- PP5164
Hi all, I'm relatively new to the forum. Over the last few months I have purchased a few watches(Rolex's and IWC) from DavidSW. But this time I decided to take it to a new level and join the PP club. I've eyed this watch since it was introduced, and have gone back and forth if I should buy or not. One thing for sure it's not available at the AD's I've called or visited directly. So I had to turn to David and he tracked this one down. It took several weeks, but he found one and delivered.
One question...
What is the maximum difference should have per month to say I need to bring my 111 to sevice for the controls? I meant what is a normal delay or advance? Thanks.
