Cockpit Companion: Testing The Bell & Ross Br 03-92
Bell & Ross has been making pilots' watches since the company was founded two decades ago. Initially, they were traditional-looking, round watches, but in 2005 it came out with BR 01, a square-case, round-dial watch meant to resemble the flight instruments in an airplane cockpit. The watch is very big: 46 mm across. Bell & Ross, headquartered in Paris (although its watches are made in Switzerland), followed up with a smaller version, the BR 03, which is 42 mm across, and then with an even smaller one, the BR S, 39 mm wide. Is forged carbon prone to mildew?
while I was thinking which ROO to get for my first AP either 42mm or 44mm, my friend advised me not to pick one with forged carbon as it may become moldy by its material nature. He showed me pic and said it's a implicit fact spreading over the internet. I just wondered if AP doesn't sense this problem as this must serverely affect its brand image if this is true. How come they could let it happen for a watch priced over 20,000 - 30,000USD$?Any forged cabon AP's owner know if it's a usual case or just an exceptional one?
