Looking for a last-minute gift guide to help you choose a watch for a friend or loved one? Then keep on walkin', 'cause this ain't that. There are watches and "gifts" in this article, but this isn't a "gift guide" where we just show you some watch stars from this year, and tell you what we think you should buy. We feel that's not actually entirely realistic and rarely helpful in real life. Instead, we decided it might be fun to do a "Fantasy" Secret Santa this year, with all our team members, and do a real-life, real-watches (meaning relatively accessible), real people (with fantasy money), watch "gifting" exchange, and see what happens. His ROO and Her RO and a clock for me!
Wife and I have been looking for complimentary watches for some time. This year I picked up the 44mm RG novelty. Over the holiday season, we ended up at Magnum in the Caymans and she ended up with this 33mm RG RO. I was looking at a PP5711 blue face down the road but just didn't love it enough... to my wife's benefit :).I did a get a small bit of my AP fix with the purchase of an AP dealer wall clock. I have a picture of it but have not yet had the benefit of seeing it in person because it is being shipped to me. A big thank you to Conkers for going out of his way to help me get this from his AD!

My Pam (Q serial) is running a bit fast - about 7 seconds a day. Is this normal for p9000 movement? Also, with respect to self-regulation, which positions make the watch go faster, and which positions make it go slower?

Collection is Growing: New Tudor
Well, I finally took the plunge on my very first diver this past week. After daily wearing my trusty DJII for the past two years or so, I decided it was time to add something new to the collection. The DJII is a great all-around watch. It's suitable for almost any occasion, wearing well with anything from jeans to a suit. It will always be one of my favorite pieces in my collection, being my very first acquisition (not to mention that beautiful blue sunburst dial). One should be content with having such a beautiful piece as their one and only, but hanging around this forum is a bad influence. Meet my new Tudor Black Bay Blue. Pictures really don't do this reference justice. I know many are fans of the ETA version, but for some reason, I just prefer the straight line text and love the thought of the new in-house movement.
