Is possible to polish the sunburst case of a mark 2?
I have a Mark 2 that has a scratch (not deep) on its case, but the case has the sunburst finish, and here in Brazil no one wants to touch that kind of finish. Omega boutique said maybe in swiss but not sure. Anyone had this similar issue? Thanks!
Like it! What do you think?
Yes!Speedy Rattrapante (split seconds) chrono with silver cream dial and black subdials:IMG_0232.JPGIMG_0235.JPGIMG_0234.JPGIMG_0237.JPGThe case diameter is 44.25 mmm, so rather big but not too big ......Best regardsTom
For those of you Patek lovers, opinion on GS?
So I've put my name down on the list for a 5711. Who knows how long that will take. Anyways, in the meantime I think ill buy either the 44 Ti ROO or the 44 RG. Not totally decided on which yet. Anyways my question is, one of my other loves in the watch world is Grand Seiko. I have owned 7 of them at various stages and currently have 3. How do you all compare Grand Seiko to PP? I know they are pretty different, just wondering what that translates to in the flesh. Also, side note, spring drive is incredible and has spoiled me completely on mechanical movements from an accuracy perspective. A few pics of my faves.
5040 new price.
Hi folks, Can anyone give me a rough idea of what the new price of a 5040 (preferably G or R) was in the UK? I've lusted after one for a while now and having tried on its bigger brother the 5940 at the weekend, I think it might be time to consider actually buying one more seriously! Having seen the new price of that (57k) I'd be interested to know what the 5040 was going for new?Grateful for any help you could offer.
