Pre-eminent Vacheron Constantin 222 by Gerald Genta
Since the beginning of my dependence on watch (to admit), I am a sucker for designs of Gerald Genta in the 1970s. Most of the time, I overlooked the Vacheron and drool on the photos of "his" Patek Philippe Nautilus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and IWC Ingenieur SL.

First AP Help
I need help in deciding which watch I should get for my first AP. I have narrowed it down to the 3 watches below. I know 100% I will be pursing a 42mm ROO chrono all black ceramic if/when AP ever comes out with it. Depending on which watch I get now and how much I like it, I would possibly sell it to upgrade to my next AP. Has anyone acquired an original one off eBay? I've read where the fakes are so realistic, they even have original omega parts. Any words of wisdom or past stories (good or bad) are greatly appreciated.

New Breguet Marine 5517 blue dial
Notice a number of Patek owners like watches with blue dial. During the recent Baselworld, Breguet has released a new Marine 5517 in a few variations, one of which is the white gold case in blue dial. It is 40mm wide and 11mm thick. Will you consider this watch to add to your collection? The MSRP is $28,700.The reason why I posted in this thread is because it is close to the price tag of the 5711/1a, which also has a lovely blue dial in a simple 3-hand configurations. Both are luxury marine-theme watches. I reckon most people will go for the 5711? As an alternative, this is really cool looking and it is in white gold.

My thoughts on Rolex Supply Issues...
