Linde Werdelin Gets In The DLC Game With The Hard Black Elemental Biformeter Watch
I've appreciated the Elemental watch from England based Linde Werdelin for a while. I still don't understand the "Biformeter" name on the watch, but it sounds cool enough. The watches were always nice looking, very rugged, and techie looking timepieces better suited to James Bond style excursions rather than lumberjack journeys. The newest Elemental is the "Hard Black" and shares most of its features with the previous Linde Werdelin Elemental watches save for the new case material. Getting on the DLC bandwagon (that I predicted would occur) with other fine watch brands, Linde Werdelin likes what DLC can offer. Again, DLC stands for "diamond like carbon" and is a coating on metal that makes it crazy hard, and crazy scratch resistant. This might explain why this new watch is called "Hard Black." The nature of DLC makes for a glossy black/dark gray colored case which is increasingly refined in its look. The earliest DLC watches found a home on Japanese watches such as Casio (the MR-G). The

White Nautilus price
With Chronext, a big Euro dealer, price of white 5711 is now above a WG 5711, altho it is preowned. Prices are rising weekly, for eg the 5164 moved up ?2K in the last week, was under ?26K then. 5167 has hit ?20K, retail is ?14K I believe.
Some Eye Candy for Patek Lovers!!!
The Dad of one of my best friends passed away earlier this year. He was an avid watch collector and left a few nice pieces behind. Here are some nice shots that my friend allowed to take at the bank for our viewing pleasure. A JLC Perpetual Calendar sneaked in the last picture.Enjoy!!!
Winding your watch
Hello everyone,I've had my 114060 exactly 2 years and never take it off. It's gaining 2.8 seconds a day and I'm well aware that's within COSC specs but Rolex want to go one better with 2 seconds either way. I never wind the watch as I wear it like I said constantly but when I'm asleep I appreciate the watch is not active. Before I presume that my watch doesn't run to the Rolex tolerances I'm wondering do I still need to wind the watch perhaps weekly or monthly to get the best accuracy. I just think my lack of knowledge should be tested before criticising the watch.Thank you for any advice.Marc
