Formex is one of those great watch companies that makes watches you are happy exist in the world, even if you don't want one. Anyone can graciously appreciate the design of these relatively reasonably priced watches that embody a unique stylized blend of form and strength. We are glad that companies exist out there to create such wildly niche products that are sometimes over-the-top, but appreciable at least in a "that's so cool" type of way. As though a passionate watch maker decided the world needed such watches, as opposed to a committee of business people deliberating market demand and cost efficient concerns.Formex makes "racing inspired swiss watches" that each have the "4Speed" name attached to it. To be honest, it is unclear to me why the 4Speed name is part of each watch, especially since there are no modern 4Speed racing cars. Thanks guy for all the advice, settled on the new sapphire sandwich! The legibility of the registers is INSANE. Compared to my other chronos, nothing is too shiny or covered. This is the perfect tool watch.The manual also describes a technique to hack the 1863, which I tried and succeeded, so the only caveat I had when buying this watch is now covered!Immediately took it off the bracelet, then realized the Velcro is too long, and the Nato too chromey, so now it sits on my old Maratec nato, I love it! I'm so satisfied with this watch that hopefully it ends my hunt for a Speedmaster and becomes my first and only Omega.If any one wants the included 2 straps, PM me with offer.

DSOTM strap question
Has anyone ever tried to put the black strap from a DSOTM onto a standard speedmaster pro? I know that strap is 21mm and the standard moon watch has 20mm lugs, but was wondering if anyone ever tried it (when I had a FOIS I was able to use 20mm straps despite it having a 19mm lug width, but the DSOTM strap might be too thick to compress?)Anyway, any help would be appreciated
