Help! 5711 crown issue
Hi guysNeed your help to determine if my new 5711 has a crown issue.As u can see from the picture, the crown is not attached completely to the case.There is a slight gap between them. I tried a few times to unscrew and screw the crown and each time the result is the same. I am worried water might sip in.If other 5711 owner can shead some light on this matter i would really appreciated it. I don't have a Panerai in my collection.I've seen this discussed before but not sure there was ever a consensus.What's the one and only one to have?? I'd like to add just one and I would want whatever the most desired piece long term would be. There are so many variations and LEs, etc., that it makes my head spin and I end up just not buying one.Thoughts??

What does the R mean in front of the model #, and 30B7879 following the model # mean in the picture below? It is from a GMT-Master II. I have also seen 30B9315 before.I know the A,B,N (coke, pepsi, black) following the model# describes the bezel insert.Thanks all!
