Mystery Tiffany & Co. Diving Watch Is Rare Treat: Partnership With NauticFish, Enza Mechana?
Here is something you don't see everyday. A rare Tiffany & Co. watch that I just can't seem to figure out. I learned of this watch as it is being offered on eBay right now with no end date until someone purchases it. The seller claims that it is a Tiffany & Co. watch built by NauticFish, and I am not sure this is correct. It is true that Tiffany & Co. often rebrands or adds its name to other popular watches sold in its store. It used to do this with Rolex, and currently does with a variety of brands including Baume et Mercier. Further, Tiffany & Co. often outsources watch design, just as it did with the popular Streamerica watch (no longer being made) designed by Jorg Hysek. Therefore, it is plausible that Tiffany & Co. worked with NauticFish or Enzo Mechana, but it is doubtful in this case. NauticFish is a new brand that started in 1998 as an offshoot from Schaumburg watches in Germany. I don't know of any Tiffany & Co. relationships with German watch makers, bu
New Navy ROO - easy colour to use?
Hi,I am brand new to the AP brand, tried some on yesterday and wow, I fell in love!!I love the rose gold Royal oak with leather strap, but I think a better starting point would be a Royal Oak Offshore - lower entry price and better daily watch for my lifestyle. I love the rubber strap on a premium watch, very cool.So I am now considering a few models, the new navy dial + navy strap 26470 - which I have found for ?14k for a brand new one.The others are the 26170 Navy and the 26170 Panda - both costing about ?10k for a used one.So I have a couple of questions.(1) Does anyone have any experience of using this new navy ROO? I tried it on yesterday and it looked amazing, but I had a blue t-shirt and jeans on, so naturally it matched perfectly! I just wonder when using other colour clothes if the blue ends up clashing or if it still looks just as good? How easy is it to use basically I want to know, as I intend to use it as my daily watch and put my YG GMT-IIC to rest for special occasions.(
bumble bee question
i have recently come across an AD with this watch, which i have always found interesting, while on vacation.having never purchased an AP before, i was wondering if soomeone could provide just a very ballpark range on discounts that might be typically extended on this model?i am also curious on thoughts around whether purchasing a display model of this watch would be a dealbreaker for you - every high end watch i have purchased has been a boxed piece 'from the back' but in this case there is only a single piece at this AD.thanks in advance for any help!
Need help choosing the next one....
Hi Gang,The journey's been real. I guess my AP love affair really didn't start until my second time around. What I mean is, it's always memorable to reconvene with something so great the second time you got to come around owning it. I got my first AP when I was way too young and before I realized it was something so great it had already been flipped. That was a black themed SS offshore on calf (before hornbacks were the standard straps). I completely deviated from any AP pieces for a long while until I bought my second one back (ROC Panda) less than a month ago. For a while I thought I was done with the offshore line (to sort of justify having sold my 1st one), but no, I bought a diver right after the panda. And of course, all your gorgeous pics of your offshores, be it LE or not, have made me come around and now wanting one again. I've narrowed down to just four and wanted to know which one you guys think I should go for.1. Volcano2. Bumble Bee3. Gentleman's Driver4. 57th Street NYChe
