Popular “budget” brand, Techn�� looks to have another winner on their hands with the recently released Merlin Collection. The military inspired pieces – reminiscent of airplane cockpit instrumentation and early mil watches – are available in a time (with seconds) only or a multi-function version. ?The movement inside of each is a Seiko Instruments quartz movement, specifically the VD78.A quick look at the specs reveal a very moderate 38mm size with 20mm lugs and a mineral crystal. Water resistance is shallow at 50M, which is logical for a watch with pilot-styling. The watch has a number of options for the strap at purchase: NATO, canvas or cowhide leather options are available for each model. What is the best way to keep watch???
I wear my Royal Oak 15400 only once a week. The rest of the time I just keep them on the shelf. I know that most of people keep their watches in winders. So is the winder necessary to keep my watch? Thank you

Who needs a Rolex Daytona anyway?
I gave some very serious thought to buying myself a new a Rolex Daytona (white dial) for Christmas. But then I came to my senses and realized a new non date Rolex chronometer would fall well short of what I already own...my all original single owner Omega Seamaster cal. 321 circa 1967 with stainless steel 9 row beads of rice bracelet.
