Watches NEWS
Good mod?
Forget photoshop. All I know how to use is Paint. Hopefully this is representative enough for assessment. What do you guys think of throwing Messi rubber on the white ROC?
Is it AP love?
I'm smitten, but waiting just a bit longer to try them on the wrist again to make sure it's true not lust. Leaning to the 15300, haven't seen the new 15400 in the flesh yet. Having fun learning, but still a newbie.Thinking of getting one for my wife too...anniversary in a couple of months. She tried (and liked) the 37mm ROO, but the rubber band isn't great for her daily wearer. Does/will the new 37mm RO (15450?) come in a plain SS bracelet version - sans diamonds?
Best Patek in Category Thread
I was just thinking it might be nice to have a thread or threads were we present and discuss the various categories of Pateks and nominate various watches we believe are best in that category.Granted this would all be opinion and there would be no real winners or losers, but it sure would be a great way to discuss the merits of various Pateks. For example we could start with various Calatrava's to begin with and then go on to Aquanauts, Nautilus, Complications, and so on. I think it would be best to reserve Grande Complications for our last discussion. We may even want to open a seperate thread for each category this way it would help to keep the discusssion's and pictures seperate, but we would only initially open one and allow some time for good discussion before opening another thread. So what do you think?
Patek Service?
Could anyone recomend a decent place to get a few Pateks serviced. I live up in Maine and I found a guy in NH that works on them, has anyone heard or used Carignan Watch Company? Thanks
Daytona Advice Needed
I currently have a 116520 White Dial. I have an option to get a New Ceramic Black Dial 1165500. For those of you that own or owned 116520 and 116500 either white or black, and you have to choose, which one you prefer and why. Those of you that sold 116520 to get 116500, any regrets? If I pass, it will be a while for next opportunity as there are a number of people on the list. I don’t want to flip the 116500 as I value opportunity from the AD.Thanks
