When we were over in Schaffhausen filming the currently on-going series "A Man's Guide To Buying A Watch" with IWC, they were gracious enough to let us into their absolutely awesome museum. Inside, we found some of the earliest IWC watches on record, and all of the classics pieces from the brand's superb history, including many that act as the inspiration for today's collection - think original Portuguese pieces from 1939, 1950s MKXI pilot's watches, late 60s Aquatimers, and the original Genta-designed Ingenieur SL. Question on hornback strap
Hi all,I just took delivery of a 26170 Navy and it wears a little loose on my small wrist. I was wondering if punching an extra hole into the hornback strap would not damage anything. Also, I was wondering if it is possible to swap out the deployment clasp and fit in a tang buckle instead. Here's a quick photo:Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Service update on the sticking date issue with my 5127R
Hi guys,I posted here last week that the date on my 5127R had developed the infamous sticking issue. I wanted to update you on this issue. I sent my watch to Henri Stern Agency in NY last week. I received the confirmation by mail in 2 days that my watch safely arrived and I will be contacted asap, once it has been evaluated. I was contacted today (in 3 more days), that Patek will do a complete service of my watch. It usually takes 21 weeks but they will do it in 10 weeks, shortest time possible. Also, even though my watch is 3 months out of the warranty, they will not charge me for it.Kudos to Patek! I am very pleased to say the least! They really do take wonderful care of us collectors, their customers. I feel relieved now. It feel great to collect the brand which is not only making the most pleasing to the eye and most complicated watches in the world, but also provides the best customer service that's out there. hello out there so probaly my next trip will be to Amsterdam and honestly , i cant decide between 2 of the watches. both of them really beautiful for my taste. i am 28 years an im searching for the ideal watch for Casual, Dress, and gym time . 24/7 :) probaly after the purchase my next watch will be in the next 5-10 years, so i really checking carefully :)i think the Hulk is more Sportive , but on the hand more luxury deep an the shades of the green are wonderful. but maybe after a year it will be rdicilous (i dont know why, maybe because its not too formal and not too classic?)and regret that I did not take a watch that more traditionalmy concern if its really fit most events and dressing as well , the DJ classic, beautiful and should be fit to most occasions and dressing , but i find it little bit classic without a twist waiting for your comments and opnions :)pic from google:

Got it yesterday, at 2:40pm, the kind of call you say yes instantly, along with thank you and I’m on my way... BUTYour AD is doing you a gigantic favor and they’d prefer you pay with cash (understandable from your point of view)... Well it’s Saturday afternoon and Christmas is Monday, you can’t get 5 figures of cash until your bank opens Tuesday and the AD tells you they’re actually closed Tuesday too. Maybe they’re celebrating Boxing Day in the states? Okay, you’ll have it Wednesday, :waiting:...Merry Christmas TRF!!! My gift (which was well worth waiting for) comes two day after Christmas.
