New 2017 42mm ROO Chronos
I'm not seeing any discussion about the new 42mm Offshore Chronos.Personally I like them especially the blue black variant (26470ST.OO.A028CR.01) but I can't find any live pics anywhere. Is there no love for these pieces anymore or have they simply gone unnoticed? Here's a link to the AP site:https://.audemarspiguet/en/wa....OO.A028CR.01/
Seamaster accuracy
For the past few months I've been searching for the perfect watch, or at least the perfect one for me. Being used to quartz (I own a Cartier and a Tag), I love the accuracy of quartz but am being drawn more to automatics. I know the COSC standard is +6/ -4 secs per day, but in practice what accuracy can I expect from a properly adjusted Seamaster? My hope is that I could get within a minute or so per month or 2 secs/ day. I am interested in both the SMP line and the co-axial. Thanks for your replies.
After 3 years of drooling my beautiful blue beast should arrive tomorrow
I have been following this piece for 3 years and the wait is almost over thanks to my friend David Farkas (perpetualman88). I remember in 2011 My AD handed me a Patek Philippe Magazine and said maybe someday you'll want a Patek. I had purchased Panerais and Rolexes but never thought I would spend that type of serious money on a watch. I opened up the PP magazine and saw an article on this beautifully strange piece and said to my wife this is the one I want to own someday. She laughed and didn't take me too seriously. I did not want to own it due to its perceived collectability or rareness but simply because it spoke to me. After this article on the 5235G there was limited information on the piece. There were delays as we all know as the movement and dial were not easy to make. Patek had even gone as far as to take it off their website. When George from Govberg had gone to Geneva I had heard rumors that it was on Mr. Stern's wrist which gave me hope that this piece was still goi
When made and how many?
Is it possible to find details on when a particular reference/model line was produced and find out how many examples were manufactured/distributed?Thanks.
