SIHH 2015: Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica (Updated with Live Photo and Price)
At SIHH 2015 this week, Panerai Panerai debuted the Luminor 1950 3 Days Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica – 44 mm. This new model surrounds the P.9100 manufacture chronograph movement with a high-tech matte-black case fashioned from synthetic ceramic based on zirconium oxide. The flyback function offered by the P.9100 caliber instantly zeroes the chronograph hands and restarts them with the push of a single button. This chronograph is unusual in that it uses only two hands, both centrally mounted. The blued hand counts the chronograph seconds, and the rhodium-plated hand tallies the chronograph minutes. The continuous seconds appear on the dial at 9 o'clock. The unusual chronograph uses two hands, both centrally mounted, and no subdials. To maintain the integrity of Panerai's trademark lever-based crown protection device, the chronograph pushers are located on the 9 o'clock side of the case. The button at 10 o'clock starts and stops the chronograph, and the button at 8 o'clock
Incaming and back to AP
After letting my diver and 15400 go a while back I am happy to say I am back and love it.A bad pic of a great watch
This watch deserved a better band...
Greetings TRF,Just wanted to share pictures of the new band I got for my Audemars Piguet. The other one I had was a cheaper one and although I don't usually pay too much for my bands it was getting worn out rather quickly and was a tad thick for that watch. Here's what I found instead. It's one of my first flip over deployant clasps, I usually buy bands that come with butterfly ones and was always looking for a different type. I sure like the feeling and the look of it! It's not an expensive band but I quite like the grain on it, I think it gives the watch a nice look....And obviously, a new band equals a new wrist shot! Thank you for watching, feel free to comment.
Finally snagged one!
I've always loved chronographs, especially the manual wind varieties and when the opportunity presented itself to add a Patek Icon to the collection, I couldn't resist. So far, I'm lovin it as much as I thought I would.
BLNR Availability
As a relatively newcomer to Rolex I wonder what the release of the new Pepsi GMT will do to the availability of the BLNR. I am assuming that most of the hype will be focused on the Pepsi at least for the near future, would it be safe to assume that the BLNR will become easier to get?
