Introducing: Breguet Exhibition To Open At The Fine Arts Museums Of San Francisco
Breguet has announced that the largest exhibition of Breguet antique timepieces will open at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. Breguet: Art and Innovation in Watchmaking will open on September 19, 2015, and will run until January 10, 2016. 1 OF 4 This is the first-ever retrospective of the work of Abraham-Louis Breguet and the exhibition will consist of more than 70 pocket watches, clocks, and horological instruments. The exhibition is broken into themes throughout Breguet's life and career including: subscription watches, touch watches, simple watches, repeating watches, automatic watches, travel clocks, marine chronometers, timekeepers, chronographs, the first watches with winding crowns, highly complicated watches, Turkish watches, exceptional clocks, tourbillons, and Art Deco watches and clocks. 2 OF 4 The exhibition was built by Martin Chapman, curator of European Decorative Arts and Sculpture at the Fine Arts Museums

I know this horse has been beaten to death however please humor me. What are your experienced pros and cons? I really want to get the 15202 but I was wondering if the Patek is superior in craftsmanship.
Omega Planet Ocean 8500 too thick for my taste. Looking for 2500
So I bought a Planet Ocean earlier this year for my first Omega (232.30.42.21.01.003). Now that I have had it for a few months, I just can't get past the thickness of the the case. After some research, it seems the thickness is due to the newer 8500 movement that replaced the older 2500 movement.I am wondering a couple of things. First, does anyone have direct side view comparison photo(s) available? Second, what would the model number for the aesthetically equivalent 2500 movement based watch be? Second, would anyone consider a trade? I know the 8500 movement is more expensive, but frankly, I'm more interested in a watch I enjoy wearing.(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, still new here at TRF)
thoughts on the everrose yachtmaster
Curious what your guys thoughts were on the 2015 everrose yachtmaster with the oysterflex strap? i think it looks great! not too flashy! its got a subtle elegance!
Incoming! Hulk :)
Just picked this up today from my local AD in Santa Monica. Friend did me a favor and was able to get me it. Absolutely love it! Goes perfectly with my bluesy and white RO. No more watches for at least 6 months. Also, shoutout to Takuya for being an awesome seller. Bought one from him as well and ended up selling it to my friend.Funny, as I walked in to the AD there were two guys trying to buy one...made it even more special LOL
