ROO rubber clad - investment or money pit?
Given that the ROO rubber clad (rose gold) is now discontinued, how do you think the residuals will fare? This has been an iconic AP, could they become a new vintage in years to come, or will they bomb now they are old news as more people seek out the 44mm?And if they do hold value well, would the watch of choice likely be the older or newer sale dial (newer being with gold rings)?
TRF Member Generosity
I just received the copy of the Breitling Book from Chris (Belk7) which I won in the recent drawing and am overwhelmed by the book and Chris's generosity. This is another example of the wonderful members that we have on TRF. Thanks also to Steve who sponsored the book drawings and to all of you members who make this place a joy to be part of.Best regards,Myron
Entering the world Omega
I'm newly entering the world Omega and I'm trying to choose my model Pro Speedmaster. I see there are automatic and manual. Wich one is the most convenient and accurate? I guess the manual is cheaper and do not have a big budget. I would like to metal bracelet but also you can exchange one of brown leather. What if I would like for sure is a watch have the best resale value that when you want to change for another Omega I don't have to lose a big quantity of money. Thanks guys.
Trade advice : Do or Do Not
I am really on the fence regarding a trade. I would need to get rid of 4 of my watches to get this one, its a PP Nautilus 5712R.I would need to trade :AP safariHulkDaytonaBLNRI love the Nautilus but am screwed trying to justify getting rid of 4 pieces for 1. I haven't been able to grasp the reality of that. I need help!Let me know what you all think.
Explorer Alternatives
Tried this on today. I liked the matt finish of the dial and the fact that it's rather an understated piece. With it being difficult to seeing stainless steel models in the flesh, what are some good alternatives/comparisons to the Explorer?Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
