SevenFriday V-Series Watch
So it has finally happened: SevenFriday have released a new collection C or series, as they like to call them-with the?SevenFriday V-Series. It is the newest addition to the family that previously contained the P- and M-Series. While its forerunners were all 47mm soft-edged squares, the case shape of the V-Series is totally different. Two left side protrusions, housing a simple-but-smart FSC (Fast Strap Change) system, change the look of this watch entirely. In the same way Star Wars got creative with the shaping of their lettered craft, this watch kind of looks like a V that has toppled to its right and just decided to stay there.Aside from the obvious shift in silhouette, the SevenFriday V-Series features a round specially hardened and anti-reflective treated domed mineral glass and a more traditionally shaped dial. This design trait goes almost unmentioned in the press release. Not because it is a small change (I personally believe it to be seismic for the brand, and potentially des
Vegas boutique
Swung by there last week... I love everything about ap, but I was disappointed with the selection. They only had maybe 12 men's watches. Additionally the woman that helped me, while friendly, seemed to know very little about the brand. Mostly regurgitating a canned sales pitch. This won't turn me off to ap at all but I would like to think with only 4 (think this is right) boutiques in the US, they would have pretty much every watch they offer in stock for viewing. They only had a panda and safari in the offshore case. Wonder why they choose to limit the selection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is it just me?
Or does Omega just make some of the coolest, most competent, elegant, durable, sylish, timeless, interesting, underrated and unassuming watches in the world?I've had a Seamaster PO 42mm for the last 5 years and it's been my go-to watch for tough weekend work. It has withstood the beating, kept great time, looks cooler than snot, is incredibly comfortable and continues to look like new (with just a healthy bit of patina). I also really enjoy the Speedy's and am sure one will find its way into my watch cabinet at some point as well. Might even be one of the new 9300 Speedy's!!...So I know we're in the Rolex Forums here, and that most of us own and enjoy Rolexes (and other fine watches), but I find the appeal of the Omega brand and its watches to be stronger than ever. Anyone agree?
1965 De Ville Automatic HELP!
So I have a 1965 14k Yellow Gold plated De Ville automatic that I found 15yrs ago that I thought I lost then. Just found it again. I can't find much information on these. Is it because they are less desirable or because there are not as many as the SeaMaster? Someone borrowed my cam so I don't have pics. What is the ballpark price on these? I Just ordered a band and buckle from Omega so I can start wearing this puppy. Any info would be appreciated. On Watch:Adjusted 2 positions 24 jewels 711 (Caliber)On cover :Fd 16102480microns
