Guide To Buying Your First Rolex Part 1: When To Buy
When To Buy')">This is a two-part guide on buying your first Rolex watch. Our Rolex buying guide is intended for both novices and seasoned watch lovers. Part 1 discusses when you should invest in your first Rolex, while Part 2 discusses what specific Rolex timepiece to buy.True story: When I first became interested in "nice" watches I had little interest in Rolex. Looking back, I think I found them a bit ordinary or too conservative looking. My 20-year-old self perhaps saw them as being "too safe" from a design perspective and not close enough the modern, experimental designs I was attracted to at the time. That was all true. Rolex watches are design monoliths. Due to Rolex's impressive marketing over the years, as well as the sheer popularity of their products, they have become the archetype of the "nice watch." Speedy pro issues....please help.
Hello,I noticed on a few occasions that my seedy pro has stopped prematurely (as in there is still power reserve)! I can get it run again when i pull the crown out and adjust the time. This is usually during the time it spends on the nite table. Initially, i thought i had forgotten to wind the watch but i have also test the power reserve and it is at a solid 48+ hours. This has happened perhaps 3 times in the last 2 months. I have also gotten it the watch to stop on a few occasion when i was setting the time. Anyone has expierenced this problem? Now, i bouight the watch used from a member off TZ. The watch was initially sold to him on 2008-01-14. I have the original sale reciept (with the amount portion cut off) and the warranty cards. But only the jeweller's name is filled in on the warranty card. The date and watch reference is empty. Will the warranty still be valid under my ownership? I heard that Omega warranty is transferrable.Thanks.
5235G pics for your viewing pleasure...
Though I no longer own this watch, I wanted to share a couple of pics of the 5235G to show how incredible the dial is on this piece. It amazing because at different angles you get different sheen and color. Hope you guys enjoy the pics!
Size of each wrist
I wonder which is the regular wrist limit to go from 34/36 mm to 39/41 mm in the classic Rolexs watches ?6 inches ? 6,5 inches ? 7 inches ? more ? no limit ?
