Equipe Watches Rallies with duPont Registry at Barrett-Jackson Auctions
Equipe is a new, automotive-inspired watch brand with series bearing names such as Dash, Big Block, Hemi and Ball Joint. Born in Detroit, Equipe Watches are geared for those who are passionate about cars and want to wear that passion on their wrist. The brand’s latest marketing venture will make the watches available in the du Pont Registry booth at the important Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions. duPont Registry is a leading publication among high-end automobile collectors, offering an impressive array of rare, exotic and luxury cars for sale, and the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale is a mecca for auto enthusiasts of all types. For the exhibition, Equipe Watches built a custom display using a mold of an engine block, complete with pistons and manifold. Equipe watches will make their first Barrett-Jackson appearance at the 1st Annual Supercar Meet, June 25 -27 in Orange County, CA. The brand will also be presented at Barrett-Jackson Auctions during the 2010/2011 season
My Omega Seamaster Professional 2054.50 & 2254.50
I like these both but favor the 2054.50 cause of the bond bracelet. Does anybody know how many years the 2054.50 was made for and was it only a USA market watch?
Speedmaster Reproduction
The person responsible for the following site has documented the reproduction of a pre-moon Speedmaster with the 321 movement:kawai3.hp.infoseek.co.jp/eng-speedmaster.htmlI have skimmed this site several times, and it remains unclear to me how this person acquired the necessary parts and at what cost.Do I correctly understand that genuine parts still exist on the retail market and that a person could build or have built a pre-moon Speedmaster with a 321 movement?A new Speedmaster (meaning, NOT a Speedmaster Professional) has a lot of appeal.I wonder why Omega has not reissued this watch and passed on the added expense of this level of quality to the customer. After all, look what people pay for a Rolex Daytona.I'd much rather have a new Speedmaster with a 321 movement (and a reproduction case back with no first watch on the moon writing).Does a market exist for a real reproduction from Omega (faithful except for the tritium)? And, does the 321 movment really represent a higher level of q
Speedmaster ?'s
I see so many different models! I am interested in an automatic w/date. Which should I choose?I noticed the MK40 am/pm which is very sharp, but does that am/pm act as a gmt? if so it might be the perfect watch!
Incoming🇬🇧.....my AD is awesome!
Got the call on Wednesday, AD said they would keep it aside they didn't require deposit, however I insisted on paying a deposit to ensure it wasn't going to anyone else! They also had a GMTII on display and a non date sub in the safe that I just missed out on.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
