New Ball Watch Honors 100 Years of New York’s Grand Central Terminal
New York City’s iconic railroad hub, Grand Central Terminal, reaches its Centennial in 2013, and now Ball Watch, a brand indelibly linked to the history of railroading, is releasing a commemorative timepiece specially suited to the Big Apple’s homesick travelers and expats: the Engineer Master II GCT, whose second-time-zone function uses Grand Central Time (GCT) rather than the traditional Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Click below for pictures and pricing. The watch, limited to 999 pieces, is in a 44-mm, stainless steel case and contains an automatic movement, Ball Caliber 651. It is available on a stainless steel bracelet or calf leather strap with a pin buckle, and features 15 self-powered micro gas tubes a hallmark of the Ball brand on the dial and hands, which offer outstanding luminosity in darkness. The crowning technical touch is the second-time-zone function, on a subdial at 6 o’clock, which displays Grand Central Time (that is, the local time in New York City&
Should I Buy This?
AD just called and told me he had this in stock:https://.omegawatches/watch-o...3410392001001/I'm not all that familiar with Omega, but I do know the overwhelming majority can be had second hand at a massive discount. I like the looks of this watch, but not interested in taking a bath. Can anyone provide advice please?
omega speedmaster day date chrono
Hi all, O.K. I acquired my first TT blue date sub recently. Was now having thoughts of picking up the pepsi gmt. But, the Omega Speedmaster day date st white face looks cool too. What is the experience out there with the Omega stated. Thanks and cheers/
Would you...?
I have a collection that I am happy with, but I often consider trading the Panerai towards a different piece. Since the latest releases at Basel I am considering getting rid of the Pam for the new Black Bay Fifty Eight or finding a older Black Bay Black ETA. However, part of me feels that the Panerai adds a nice change to my collection, but my itch for something new gets pretty strong at times. Before anyone says just keep it and add another I can't do that. I have a rule that one in and one out so I never outgrow my box and also don't cause any ripples with my wife. Also the Explorer, GMT, Tudor and Breitling all have sentimental value so they are permanent fixtures in my collection. The MKII doesn't have enough value to do the trade so it's also not a candidate. So would you do the trade or leave the box as is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your watches and your ink?
We've had vehicles, steering wheels, wallets, attire and even drinks. For a little Friday fun how about your watch and your tattoos?Appreciate that its not everyone's thing but I've seen a few on here and this appears to be a friendly and non judgemental forum Here's one of my ongoing work in progress (with my Sub, of course )
