Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime ref. 6300
Introducing the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime ref. 6300The Grandmaster Chime ref. 5175 launched in 2014 for the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe. There were just 7 of the fully engraved exceptional watch available with its 20 complications. The brand presented a new version of the piece at Baselworld 2016. The reference 6300 has taken its crown. 5 of its 20 complications are audible: a large and small alarm, a minute repeater, an alarm that rings on the hour and a date repeater that chimes the date on demand. The reversible white gold watch has a rotation mechanism inside the lugs and is made up of 1580 parts.Price: 2,500,000 CHFBy?Fabrice Eschmannpatek
Custom strap for AT 8500 - step by step
Posted on other forums but I know there's a lot of AT love here.1. Acquire the right watch - AT 8500 Golf2. Choose the color of alligator hide. I was even able to choose which part of the hide to use for best scale patterns. Kay at Ekamon straps is great to work with at customization.3. Choose color of stitching4. Choose the size and hole placements - I did not need all the extra holes!5. Exchange emails to confirm, patiently wait to make your strap, patiently wait to be shipped from the other side of the world....then enjoy. I had a feeling it would turn out OK. The green stitching is subtle but matches the golf green of the watch perfectly. The matte brown is just right to contrast against the black dial. Just enough to make it interesting. Thanks for looking.
Anyone going to Basel?
I'll be in Zurich Monday to Thursday. Might have to make a day trip to Basel. Never been to the show. Do you have to be connected to get tickets or can anyone go?
panerai noisy?? and pins?
Hey I noticed the mov inside my panerai is a bit noisy compared to my other watches and some times i can feel the rotor spinning inside. is this normal for panerai watches? Also when i wind the watch my the crown it does not feel as smooth as my rolex lets say? it feels like a cheap watch would when you wind it kinda (not saying the panerai is cheap!!)I know these are noob questions but put my mind to rest!!Also in my 279 in the band they use push pins instead of set screws!! why o why!?!? for the money they should not be using push pins in the bracelet... it should always be set screws... what do you guys think of all this? any answers to all my questions?
