Event Recap: An Evening With Bremont Watch Company And The New Supermarine S2000
Last week we spent an evening with Bremont Watch Company at New York City's Ace Hotel to give HODINKEE readers a closer look at the new Supermarine S2000. Bremont Co-Founder Nick English was on-hand to answer questions over drinks and hors d'oeuvres, along with a massive collection of Bremont watches.?We already gave you a closer look at the S2000, but there is nothing like speaking with the man behind the watch. Nick English treated our guests to a brief presentation explaining the history of Bremont, his family's deep connection with aviation and performance engineering, and what drives him to create Bremont watches.?Please enjoy the above video and photos from last week's festivities. We hope you see you at the next HODINKEE event. 1 OF 7 2 OF 7 3 OF 7 4 OF 7 5 OF 7 6 OF 7 7 OF 7
Came back to AP today
Fed up with what to me was a delicate scratch magnet I sold my 26320 10 months ago and consolidated my collection with 4 rolex. My wife is a big AP fan and I have always wanted a novelty however circumstances never allowed. I received a good trade offer a few weeks back and waited patiently whilst this went through the premature B1 water resistance test and got a BNIB GP strap fitted but today another grail hit my collection and I wanted to share with any potential buyers wondering how a 44mm watch fits on a 7 3/4 wrist.I'll be doing a short write up on my grails on the Rolex forum in the next few weeks but here is in my opinion the perfect AP ROO
Speedy in the snow
Playing with the kids outside in the snow, timing how long they played.
42mm vs. 45.5mm PO
Does anyone have any wrist shot of the 42mm vs. the 45.5 mm PO? Since I bought my 41.5mm Great White I'm getting used to the smaller size. I was debating trading in the 45.5 for a 42, although this is just preliminary thinking. Thanks,Peter
5980/1A blue production numbers
This maybe a long shot but does anyone have any idea on production numbers of the 5980/1A blue? Thanks!
