Top 10 Watch Blog Articles Of 2014
2014 is just about over, and it has been a rather eventful year for the watch industry and watches-dealer. PO 42 vs Speedy Pro for travel...
My Speedy pro is on the way from a trusted ebayer.. i found a 3592.50 for a reasonable price...My question is, what do you guys think the better watch for international travel would be...Speedy pro vs Planet Ocean 42...Spending two weeks in Turkey; just want to take 1 watch....Speedy pro might be a bit more low profile... not spending too much time in the water (but maybe a little....)thanks for any thoughtsdrccw
ID Vintage Ladies Omega Model Please
One our wedding day, my wife inherited an 18K white gold Omega owned by her deceased mother. The watch had been kept locked in a safe for more than 12 years. The safe was installed in the floor of the house, and after it was opened, it was discovered that the safe had been flooded some time in the previous 12 years. The watch was taken to a local watchmaker, who was able to clean it up, install a vintage Omega movement, and acrylic crystal. He stated that he had the movement and parts on hand because some people are selling the watches to his partner the jeweler, for gold content, and he is able to save the movements, crystals etc. He also stated that although the movement differed slightly from original, it fit perfectly. The Omega logo, as well as any other markings on the dial were lost. We are happy to have the watch not only looking good, but also working again.Does anyone have any idea as to the model name or number and a possible date of manufacture. The back and bracele
How "loose" do you wear your Rolex watches?
Hi, TRF. Longtime lurker, here. I finally took the plunge after reading and perusing this community for more than 2 years. I'm glad to be a part of this forum, and I hail from London.I would like to discuss the correct looseness to wear a Rolex watch as my first thread on this website.
