Introducing The Zenith El Primero 36,000 VpH in 42mm With A Tri-Color Dial (Live Pics, Pricing, Details)
This is a watch that is a long time coming.? In fact, we'd bet most of you thought this watch already existed.? It didn't, until this Basel World.? What it is is a 42mm El Primero with the traditional Zenith Tri-Color dial.? It is just an awesome looking watch with a wonderful in-house high-beat chronograph movement that has thousands of fans the world over.? 2 OF 5 The reason we're venturing to say that most people already thought this watch existed is because there were (and are) quite a few models from Zenith that look very much like it.? In fact, you can have the exact same watch in 38mm (released in 2011)?, the same dial with a slightly different case, the same watch with a different dial, or most famously, you can have the all but similar dial AND 42mm case in the limited edition Striking Tenth watch, which features a modified El Primero that allows for 1/10th of a second timing (a watch we featured in a full Week On The Wrist review here).? 3 OF 5 In

All I can say is WOW. On a leather strap this thing is real classy. Almost has a dress watch appeal to it. Omega did a great job on the Speedmaster 9300. I have had a couple Daytonas............as I AM Mr. Daytona after all, and all I can say is this blows it away. This coming from a Rolex fanboy too. If you have been on the fence about one of these or you are a Speedy Pro fanboy and can't get past the fact they touched the beloved moon watch, get over it and give it a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Omega owners help me out :)
After owning a TAG (first expensive watch back then) and a few Breitlings I purchased my Sub C which I love, but my dad's an Omega man and has the PO 2500 and a Speedmaster moonphase.I'm looking for a second watch to partner with my Sub, I sadly missed out on a LM PO not long after buying my Sub and with a good discount offered on it ! (Regret to this day :( )I'm been looking at both the new PO and the Speedmaster (sandwich) so would either have two top dive watches from both brands or two brands iconic pieces !Need a piece which will pair nicely as an everyday/every occasion watch !Fire some ideas at me please guys :)
Issues with Rodium Plating on Omega NZL-32
Calling all Omega experts:2 concerns about the NZL-32 that I would like your input on:1) Should I be concerned about getting a watch which Omega has discontinued (ie from a service or resale perspective)?2) What is the impact of the Rodium plating? Does this mean the watch will have problems with the finish in the future? Many thanks.

Just wanted to get people's thoughts on the debate I'm having in my head. I've got a list of watches I'd like to collect over time. I'd love to have a full rose gold piece. But I don't know which I prefer. What do you guys think and why? Be good to learn a few things about these to two pieces from owners! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
