Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal Limited Edition Watch
Cartier recently wowed watch nerds with the rather impressive Cartier ID Two concept watch. Those with the budget to even theoretically purchase one are likely to be disappointed that the ID Two (like the ID One watch) will never be for sale. However, at the same time Cartier announced the ID Two, it also announced the limited edition Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal watch that incorporates some of the technology and will be for sale. The Cartier Astrotourbillon (hands-on here) originally came out about two years ago. The super cool watch had an in-house Cartier made movement that was a re-think of the traditional tourbillon escapement. The "astrotourbillon" - as they called it - was an escapement mechanism that spun around the periphery of the dial as a running seconds indicator, just like a hand. Personally, I instantly fell in love with the concept when seeing it in action for the first time at SIHH. Last year Cartie
1995 Seamaster caliber 1680
I have a Seamaster caliber 1680 superquartz, serial number 55797613 with a 1501/823 bracelet. White face, date, 120m. My brother is the original owner, I have the original box, manuals, and warranty card. The watch is in good condition, I replaced the battery today. Does anyone have any idea what this watch is worth today. Thanks for your time.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
2015 novelties?
Does anyone know when we will know what novelties Patek invented for this year? Not that I plan to buy anything but very anxious to see and really hoping they don't introduce a 5726 with blue dial, I love my grey dial one but if they did one in blue dial that means I would have to flip mine and get a new one, I love blue too much and not only in watches, 70% of my shirts, t-shirts and polos are blue of some sort...
Any creative ways to purchase Rolex with Amex points?
So far, I've thought of the following:-Buy gift card for shopping mall (Amex sometimes offers) that has dealer in it.-Buy gift card for hotel that has retailer located in it (would this even work?).-Purchase, and then use the redeem points towards purchase option (but then it's 133 points per dollar, whereas gift cards are often 100).Any others?
Incoming ! Oldie but goodie
Happy Friday! So for a while I've been yearning for a 5 digit sub, specifically Y serial 2-liner 14060M with box/papers in mint condition.... while here and there I would see one pop up, a few weeks ago I decided to mentally commit (for me the toughest part of deciding to buy pre-owned), and yesterday found exactly what I was looking for and pulled the trigger - first time I bought from Govberg, and I have to say it was a pleasure. Armand was fantastic and got the package fed-ex in under 24 hours. Will size it later today. Hope everyone has a good weekend!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
