I was going to post this in the Rolex General Discussion but since there are so many Basel threads on there now and this article concerns Omega as much as it does Rolex, I guess this would be a more appropriate place to post since it's a 'Omega is catching up on Rolex' kind of story anyway lol To me it makes no difference, I have Omega and I have Rolex, I appreciate both in their own ways.Quote:

So the delivery day for my watch was either yesterday or today. It didn't arrive yesterday so i knew it would arrive today. I waited for a few hours then saw a card by the door which read sorry we missed you, you can arrange to pick up your parcel or call for another delivery day. The delivery man didn't press the bell and just knocked on the door which i didn't hear. Well i wasn't going to let my new watch sit in a depot till Monday. I called and the receptionist said my parcel would be back in the depot for back up by 17:30. I went to get the parcel. This is my first Panerai and it is lovely. I am a Rolex fan boy and i always will be. DJII is next but this one adds a nice bit of variety to the collection and can have some fun with some straps.Here are the pics. Discount on Smurf
Ladies and gents, I'm about to talk to my AD about ordering the Smurf. I do have a history with this AD, purchasing two previous Rolexes at MSRP. I will not pay retail for the Smurf. Is a 20-25 percent discount doable? Thank you in advance for your input :)
