Angular Momentum Il Moretto Watch: Historical Talisman Timepiece
This is a pretty incredible new timepiece from Angular Momentum. The figurine is actually part of the watch, and is situated on one of Angular Momentum's new Time Gallery watch cases. Even if you have no idea what Il Moretto (aka "moretto Veneziano"), or a Morcic figure is, this is a pretty significant departure from your typical luxury watch. Let's go back in time for a moment a few hundred years to Italy and Croatia to understand the development of this symbol. A Morcic is a bust figure of a Moor. The figures always have Caucasian features with dark skin, and are luxuriously dressed while wearing a turban headdress. The idea of the figure was to be exotic, and was typically used a good luck charm. Hi All,I am new to Panerai world and been bitten by the Panerai. Been looking around and have set my heart on a PAM 000.Been searching for some time and manage to find a BNIB R series for a price close to retail. My question is, should I pull the trigger at this price point or keep looking?Settle for an early series? which I find the price is quite high for used examplesAny advice would be appreciated.
Does anyone own/wear only one Rolex?
I only own one Rolex. Why? Mainly because I don't have a lot of disposable to spend a lot on watches. :^) I decided a couple of years ago to save a little bit each month to put towards the Rolex fund. After several months, I had enough to pay for my new OP!! I don't regret buying this watch and it has been with me everyday whether it's in the office, in the woods, or fishing on the river. I don't baby it (too much!) and plan to hold onto it for a lifetime. Is there anyone else out there who only owns or wears ONE watch everyday? If so, let's see it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
