Thanks to a Great Friend!
I need to do a public thank you to my friend Wayne aka Orangedial for the wonderful gesture he had by sending me some AP goodies. Thanks so much. Wayne, you rock! TRF is such a great place to make new friends and share our passion. Breitling ?
I'm thinking about purchasing the Breitling Colt GMT (black dial and bracelet) but I prefer a brushed look vs. polished look. I know a jeweler can brush the bracelet, but what about the smaller areas around the top of the case? Basically, the ideal watch for me would be the Colt GMT with the brushed finishes of the Colt Quartz bracelet, case, and bezel. Any experience with this before?I would appreciate your feedback, thanks!
All these 372 posts are killing me...
Just stop guys. I talked myself out of it already and now I can't stop thinking about it.Here is a test drive I took. A little too big for me I know, but it looks so good.Unfortunately to get it something would have to go....
Scratches on PCL clasp
Looking at getting a gmt I have other watches so it will be worn in rotation but will have more wrist time. How beat up does the polished centre on the clasp get get after a year or 2 that's the only thing that stops me from getting one. Thanks in advance
Rolex Bezel Protector engineering
Don't know when these came out. Bought a DJ41 yesterday and this came on it , Rolex seems to have found a way to take something simple and make it complicated Fits more model watches no doubt so cost effective
