Thinking about 39mm 15300.st and 26300.st
So I am a little late to the game and just started to get curious on these 2 models. So far, blue looks pretty cool though white may look better on my skin tone(darker skin Asian) so a little torn here. Mind if I can request for some wrist shots to give me more perspective guys? Thank you for the enabling :-)Fred
25860st
Hi everyone,I was wondering what do you think about the 25860. Is there a big difference between that model and the 26300 that came out after? I couldn't find much information online. The bezel looks a little thin but then again, I am a rookie when it comes to AP. I also was surprised with the stem when I handled the watch after pulling the crown. I am used to handling Rolex and unlike them, there was a little play and it felt a lot more fragile between my fingers. Is that normal on a ROC? I have been told that the second hand on the sub-dial never stops. Is that true? If so how can one set the exact time?I am asking because I found a mint 25860 for a good bargain and would like to know whether I should pull the trigger. Is it a nice first AP?Best,14732361_538157599725841_2662383623662301923_n.jpg14955817_538157696392498_4541137235643941148_n.jpg14962713_538157606392507_2058450351124336484_n.jpg14963399_538157739725827_7579575350578867579_n.jpg14992069_538157639725837_5557798183043575
3940/5140 vs. 5970/5270 Comparison..
I have been contemplating a perpetual calendar (5140) to compliment my perpetual calendar chronograph (5270). After doing extensive research I have noticed when comparing the perpetual calendars to their chronograph parallel the value just has not been there in the previous references which tells me maybe not to purchase the current 5140 if I were to go long for the future.. Looking at previous perpetual references.. the 3940 and prior has not done nearly as well as the 5970.. 3970 etc. The perpetual calendar chrono's mostly hold their retail value and or increase versus the 3940 etc.. which one can find at significant discounts below retail.. I know one is a chrono and the other is not.. but is there any other reason to this madness?
Would you expect boutique...
...to do appraisals on Panerai pieces?Cost is not the factor.
