Greco Hexagonal Nut Watch For True Gear Heads
Watch industry supplier turned watchmaker Stephane Greco has introduced what I believe is his first publicly available watch, with the new and rather clever Greco Hexagonal Nut watch, as part of his Les Temps Modernes family of timepieces. The name of the watch is rather straight-forward, as the case is actually a titanium reproduction of an actual industrial nut - that is a hexagon. The two Les Temps Modernes launch models are the references LTM-18t and the LTM-04t.There are a few versions of the watch, with the most interesting having matching hexagonal nut hour markers and (fitting) wrench-style hands. It all looks a bit silly until you realize that it actually aesthetically works. Greco has produced a few timepieces in the past that he never went public with and only sold to close colleagues. Though, the last time we spoke a few years ago, he did mention that his "brand" was going to be a bit more visible soon. Yes, in the Swiss watch world, 1.5 years later is "soon."Stephane Greco

Thinking about a trade, opinions please...
I recently fell in love with the Rolex Daytona 116515 chocolate face.I have a Panerai 372 and a AP ROO Panda on bracelet that I interchange daily. I will not get rid of my Panerai because it is the perfect daily on most occasions for me. I am thinking about trading in my 3 month old ROO for this Daytona. What do you guys think? Any help or insights wold be appreciated.

Rolex Explorer II Dial Re-Lume
I have a friend who has a friend who bought a 1990s Explorer 2. My friend's friend wants to re-lume the dial and hands because they don't glow.I told him that is a bad idea from what I have read, but I guess his buddy insists that it needs to be re-lumed.Can a recommendation and advice be provided? The dial markers are in cups.I am of the opinion that it will de-value the watch, but it sounds like it is more important to my buddy's buddy that it glows brightly. Maybe he is a spelunker or something? Maybe he really needs to be able to discern am/pm by looking at his watch in complete darkness? With modern flashlights and stuff, not sure why he is so insistent, but that is what this guy wants.I am kind of hoping that people will tell me that it is a bad idea to re-lume a pretty modern Rolex because there will come a point when a 90s Explorer II is 60 years old and it will be a re-lumed 60 year old vintage Rolex.Or maybe it doesn't matter so much on a watch this new? I'd love to get

Drawn to the Daytona 116523
i have found myself lately being drawn back tie and time again to the daytona tt 116523,,,, Now bearing in mind i have never lusted after a daytona before but always thought the platona was a beautiful piece,,,, i am aware the 116523 does not seem to be the most loved of the daytonas but with a champagne dial and batons it just looks lovely imho,,, Are there any particular reasons why this model is not loved like other daytonas? apart from being tt,,,,,,
