Introducing: The Richard Mille RM 011 Midnight Fire, Sold Exclusively In The Americas
Richard Mille has just announced the release of a new limited edition collection of 88 pieces, the RM011 Automatic Flyback Chronograph "Midnight Fire." The wristwatch will be sold exclusively in the Americas. "Midnight Fire" gets its name from the dark black TZP ceramic tonneau-form case. Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal is both hard, and very fracture resistant at room temperature and it has a very fine grain, allowing fine finishing. The case is highly resistant to scratches without being brittle. The matte finish is created by blasting the watch. The center case band of the tri-part case is made from NTPT® (North Thin Ply Technology) carbon. NTPT carbon is used in aerospace technology and the manufacture of racing sails, and Formula 1 race car design. The material is incredibly strong and light and is made from multiple layers of parallel filaments obtained by dividing carbon fibers. The thin layers are then laced with resin and then woven on a special machine
