Storm Mekon Watch
I was waiting for someone to do this. It was only a matter of time before the watch world was able to release a budget version of the Corum Bridge watch. Storm UK was the one that did it. Of course this is not a replica or the same watch, but the concept is the same. A mechanical watch with a thin bridge-style movement in an otherwise empty and see-through dial. It certainly looks cool on the wrist.Let's be honest, you can't precisely compare a Corum with this Storm Mekon. While they exist in the same thematic family, this Storm will never replace a Corum in terms of pure horology. Where the Mekon does win is digest-ability. For just a few hundred bucks you can have the look and feel of something that would otherwise cost many thousands. Most people can handle that.I don't necessarily get the name "Mekon." My first Breitling - Aerospace EVO Night Mission
It took awhile to realize that this is the perfect travel companion that I have been looking/wishing for....1. Dive watch look and feel2. Dual time zones3. Light and thin4. Alarm!5. Grab and goThe original military strap looks awesome, but per the service centre lady, the lining material is leather. Could someone share if that's indeed true?

Navitimer on custom leather strap on push button clasp
I just replace my steel pilot bracelet to a custom SNRPstrap leather strap to a Breitling push button clasp. Before this I also tried a deployment clasp on calf leather but the deployment clasp hurt my wrist because of the design. The inner sleeves where the leather tucks under put pressure on my wrist and caused uncontrollable headaches everytime I wore it. I decided to fit a push button clasp and ordered custom made leather straps in whiskey color. The picture speaks for itself and the strap and clasp is so comfortable. Bought Omega PO
Bought a PO black face on rubber strap at AD yeterday. An impulse buy at a decent price. For now I'm pleased with it but may take it back... Will its 42mm size grow on me?
