Renderings vs real life
Has anyone seen an AP that looks gorgeous in the renderings or stock photos only to be disappointed when seeing it in real life? On the flip side has an AP ever caught your eye at the boutique that you never noticed in the catalogue or website because it didn't stand out?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pam504 Strap Idea?
I'm looking for a new strap, any ideas, quite fancy a dark tobacco croc strap, does anyone have any pics of a 504 or 505 on different straps to the original?
My First Rolex: SubC ND 114060
I’ll admit that Rolex as a brand was never something on my radar, even while being very into watches for the past ten years. Until about a year ago, Rolex represented people who had more money than sense or wanted to show off. The price did not throw me off since there are plenty of watches that cost more that have been on my radar for a long time; it was more the cache that came with the brand name. There are a number of Rolex AD’s much closer to me, but none of them had any stainless steel sports models in stock, nor could give an estimate when any would be coming in. A few offered to put me on a wait list, and a few othe
Advice: 16610LV
I am getting ready to pull the trigger and acquire the 16610LV, most likely from Tony at SD. There are a handful to choose from, however all of them are basically mint & full set(s). It boils down to a handful of serials that don't seem to matter for collecting purposes (M, Z, L I think), engraved vs. non-engraved rehaut, and $200-$800 difference for condition (LN to new without stickers). I also notice a few color variations to the bezel. If you were in my position, what would you be considering? Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. Thanks TRF-
