Just wanted to get the forums opinion on having both the RG and SS in the same colllection? Is it redundant? Is it perfect? Which one would you keep if you were only going to keep or buy one?

Ready to Purchase - AP ROC 26331. Now for some questions...
I am on the runway so to speak to obtain this piece (blue dial!) and I have never dealt with the AP boutique, an AP AD , or a trusted seller (e.g. DavidSW) on such a purchase. It's my first major high end watch purchase so I want to do this right. So, here are some thoughts and questions for the AP forum folks (and by the way, thanks for all of the education I've received in reading these many threads!)1.Want it shipped to avoid sales tax (so, other considerations aside, this leaves out the boutique as I live in NY). Unless the extra warranty period is worth paying the sales tax, and full retail price. Has anyone made this tradeoff specifically for their AP purchases?2.I am interested in finding the best deal possible. At least one AD emphasized (while complimenting my choice, of course) that it's a rare watch which I assume is their way of saying we can get one, but don't expect a discount (or much of one) . I'd be curious if any other forum members have had this experience. I have

No AD in ATL?
I'm in Buckhead/Atlanta for Christmas and was looking forward to checking out some APs. I assumed that a big city like this must have an authorized dealer but when I checked AP's website I was surprised to find out that there isn't one. With all the athletes & celebrities that live here I must say I'm a little shocked that GA has 0, while FL has 3 I think.Anyone here know of an independent watch dealer that may carry APs in the Atlanta area? I was looking forward to checking out some of the ROOs to see how they felt on the wrist.

if i go rolex it would be explorer 1, not to familer with panerai..what sizes are available in watches? i have a small wristproduction numbers...how many does panerai produce vs rolexare they good as a daily?qualitu wise how do they compare to rolex

I've been experimenting with different strap options for my GMTC. Bought a couple Natos and liked them, but really wanted something unique to me. A little bit of googling, and stumbled across Aaron from aaronbespoke. Sent him a basic cad drawing of what I wanted (after 19 emails), picked materials and voila! Custom strap to match my 116710LN. Its Alcantara with a leather back. Haven't mounted it yet, but couldn't resist a pic of what it's going to look like!Highly recommended. Great company to deal with.
