ROO safari
I have set the ROO safari as my target for next year haha. any of you own it and have any comment on it? i just love the cream dial along with the brown strap. what do you guys think? any other recommendations?
Saw the Chronoliner at AD yesterday
I got a chance to see the Chronoliner, it looks awesome and I really like the cleaner less busy dial. I wished its at 44mm to make it a better fit for smaller wrist size.https://.breitling/en/models/...r/chronoliner/
George Clooneys Choice - Speedy 57
Was wondering when one of the blogs would do a piece about this model.I've seen the advertisement with Clooney wearing it, but didn't realize it had the line George Clooney's Choice. Not a fan of celebrity attachments to watches, but at least it's not stamped on the watch, or called something terrible like the Clooney Limited edition. I guess they could have done a lot worse when it comes to brand ambassadors.Still haven't had time to check out the bracelet version, but I think it looks great in pictures..ablogtowatch/omega-sp...vintage-watch/
Which Planet Ocean would YOU choose?
As many of you have known, I was in the market for either a Speedmaster moon watch, or a Planet Ocean. Well, I've narrowed it down to just the Planet Ocean, and there is two of them I REALLY like. Ok, I know the choice will be up to me anyway, and that I should pick the one I LIKE, however after much decision, I decided that I like them both about the same. Now, the question I have is which PO would you chose, and why ? (See attached pictures). They are both the 45.5MM versions. Thank you for helping me in my decision making :)On a side note, the one with the orange bezel is nice too, but I already have an Orange Monster, and I didn't want another watch with too much orange in it.
Time for a change.
I got my first exposure to TRF earlier this year when a good friend of mine turned me on to Rolexes. I'd always known a Rolex was nice, but seeing and handling one in the flesh got me hooked. Needles too say, but I was bit by the bug. This message board is an enabler, but I'm a glutton for punishment! My First purchase was the 116613LB aka Bluesy. I bought this new from an AD. Then I decided that I needed something to wear daily. I did my due dilligence and set my budget for <$4250. I was between the classic Omega Speedmaster Professional and the Explorer II. I found one for a fair price from a seller listing in TRF's classifieds. Box, papers, tags - a nice no holes case example, and pulled the trigger. I couldn't be happier with it and wear it daily. I decided that I wanted a rubber Everest strap for it. I've been very pleased with the strap but have switched back to the bracelet for the Fall and Winter. I still had an Omega itch to scratch. I was on eBay and found a complete and li
