New Member Intro - Vintage question
I introduced myself yesterday on the Rolex side, and figured I would do the same today for Omega. Name in Ted, 33 years old and live in San Diego, CA. Here is my collection... I seem to prefer vintage over new. I have acquired these 2 vintage Omega pieces, anything you can tell me about them would be helpful. I have tried to find info on them, or similar watches on the net, but haven't come up with too much. Thanks in advance for any info! Look forward to being able to contribute to this forum in the future.
New season, new strap for the 233 - but which one?
I live in Florida, so my 233 spent the summer wearing the comfortable and sporty OEM rubber strap. It is fantastic in the heat, and in and around the water.
Good Price on a used Grey Dial Datejust 36?
Hello all,Im a long time lurker, but as the topic states. I was wondering what a good starting price for a used grey dial 36mm datejust (Fluted bezel) would be. The significance or rarity isn't really a concern. Completely in the dark in terms of what a good value would be, and any potential pitfalls. Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you,Bo
alternative to RSC??
With the problems mentioned in various threads here, about RSC cost and occasional QC failures, are there any private watch repair service experts that have consistent excellent work record at fair or reasonable prices? I've looked into Mark Sirianni and Kelly Haynes for repair, as well as Gray&Sons and Michael Young for bracelet restoration. Any feedback on them, and are there others of quality and reliability? I have an old GMT II two tone that needs overhaul and has a stretched bracelet.
