A Rendezvous at MBS Singapore
It is very popular nowadays for people here to do a stay-cation in the many nice hotels in town rather than making a long trip out of the country. I had an opportunity to spend a wonderful 2-day-1-night stay at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Singapore with my family to enjoy the superb facilities of one of the most exquisite hotels here. In fact, this was my second stay-cation here and the experience was as fresh as the first-time A morning view of the Singapore CBD from MBS... Notice the shadow of the 3 Towers of MBS? One of the best attraction of MBS is definitely the SkyPark, which features an incredible infinity pool stretches from one end to another of the entire rooftop linking the 3 Towers of MBS! Look at that view The SkyPark is accessible with a fee for public and free for hotel guests. And only hotel guests have the privilege to use the infinity pool. For me, I didn't bother to swim that day, but was busy snapping photos of my 25721ST against the beautiful backdrop. Lastly, a
Is possible to polish the sunburst case of a mark 2?
I have a Mark 2 that has a scratch (not deep) on its case, but the case has the sunburst finish, and here in Brazil no one wants to touch that kind of finish. Omega boutique said maybe in swiss but not sure. Anyone had this similar issue? Thanks!
Flip for a 5960p blue dial?
I saw and tried on a 5960p blue dial in the real yesterday. A stunning piece. It gave me an itch, so do I scratch? A little background. I have been on an exploratory mission to find a PM watch, and during the search, I've come to realize that I am more of a white metal guy than yellow. And, I also realized that I want a platinum watch over white gold, which obviously limits the selection, yet there are still some incredible choices (e.g. 5960p). I am in no rush, but is the 5960p blue dial a piece that is hard to find, and therefore, should I consider it more since I have the opportunity? In order to obtain the 5960p, which is at an AD, I would need to do some flipping plus layout some $$$. I would flip my 5712/1a (my first PP and one I do enjoy a lot) and my 5167a (my second PP, and one I like but don't love, so I'm considering to use it as currency for my next purchase) plus cash for the 5960p blue dial. My collection would be down to 3 watches, with the other 2 being a SDc and a SS D
PAM535 v PAM351 v PAM233
Went to the local AD to check out some Panerais. After selling my 312 which I found too too heavy, I thought I would check out the PAM535. It's a beauty. I also checked out the PAM351 and the PAM233. Both beautiful pieces but not sure if the 44m is for me though.Pics attached. Which one suits me??
