Introducing The Bremont Kingsman Collection, Three Watches Designed For The New Spy Film "Kings
What is it about spy movies and watches? Bond had his Rolex (and now his OMEGA) and Bourne had his TAG Heuer. Those characters' movies featured watches as subtle (okay, sometimes not so subtle) product placements. But the forthcoming spy action?thriller?"Kingsman: The Secret Service" not only has watches front and center, its producers and costume designers also actually had three watches commissioned especially for it. Those watches are from Bremont, based on two of the brand's existing chronographs, but with some unique features and the fictional secret organization's logo on their dials. 2 OF 3 The Bremont Kingsman DLC The three Kingsman watches are differentiated for their respective roles in the movie, with a black DLC steel version of Bremont's ALT1-B2 GMT watch for new field operative recruits and a rose-gold piece with white dial based on the existing ALT1-WT world time chronograph for the seasoned veteran agents. Presentation Box question Speedmaster LE
I have a chance to get a LE Speedmaster, one of the 50th ones (the 5957 run)It comes with everything but the presentation box which has the patch... I have found some others (complete), but they are close to the same price to $400 more...Is it worth it in the long run to have the full kit? I do tend to flip after a while... Thanks to all who respond...
A special watch and a special day:

Ever since I did that (and discussed those points with other great members around here) I've had the idea of doing another one on a piece that I consider really special, the Patek Philippe 5208p.Here are some personal observations about this timepiece:- In my very first review I tried to be as critical (without trying to sound pompous or arrogant) as I could about the Patek Philippe regulator. Alas (although I think it is a very good thing) I don't think I can find a bad thing to say about this one. The dial, case, movement and complications are just outstanding and I think this particular watch really helps us to appreciate the brand's quality and its watchmakers' talent: finding a way to make a triple complications watch look that simple is s
