Al Pacino is the recipient of the Jaeger-Le Coultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2011 Award, a prize of the Venice International Film Festival dedicated to an artist who has left an original mark on contemporary cinema. The prize has previously been awarded to some of the greatest figures in film including: Takeshi Kitano (2007), Abbas Kiarostami (2008), Agns Varda (2008), Sylvester Stallone (2009) and Mani Ratnam (2010). The awards ceremony took place on Sunday September 4th during the 68th Venice International Film Festival. Festival Director Marco Mueller described Pacino as An amazing director, whose experience is precious and original, and enriches the world of contemporary film. FC Roo vs Diver vs Novelty 44 ?
currently I've caught a bug to get a new watch for a while.I wanted the ap 44 rg but then trying it on it's definitely too bold for me(I'm 22 and doing my internship at a hotel) I've always been interested in AP forge carbon but have heard about the material durability but, from owner's experience it seems to be fine and thought it'd be a nice addition to the colleciton considering I don't have one. However, I've always love AP white dial and black sub dial (panda) tried on the 42 it's beautiful but now having the elephant would be better idea to get a 44 the ceramic bezel is a big plus so what would you guys choose? - AP 42 Bumble bee- AP Diver FC- AP novelty Steel- get a sub 116618 one of my grail + it will be fit under my shirt cuff so should be fine
ROO Chronograph Grey
Dear friends, thanks for gracing this thread. I am quite new with AP, have been into Rollies for awhile. Saw an AP only earlier this year and the bug has been nibbling until recently, the lust had gotten irresistable.Been ogling at the ROO Black Theme, then Panda. Tried it out at a preowned shop earlier this week, the Black Theme, and it sang to me. Things didn't work out as that piece was reserved but it was worth a look in person. The trip was well worth it! Came across the grey theme only a few days ago, my first time ever. Have seen the Black Theme, Panda and Volcano a lot in this part of the world but lesser of the Grey. I think its beautiful and a rather uncommon piece around here. While shopping around, I found this. To be perfectly honest, I have no feel of the fair price for a BNIB piece. I am not well-off but this itch needs to be scratched, so I gotta make this count. In your esteemed opinion, is this a fair price? Much appreciate if you could chime in. Cheers guys!
