Introducing: The Heritage TAG Heuer Monza, A Throwback To One Of The First PVD-Coated Watches Ever Made
TAG Heuer showed it had no intention of forgetting its racing heritage when they launched an online competition to pick out the next Autavia. And on the first day of Baselworld, they confirmed we would be seeing a lot more vintage-inspired chronographs, with a re-edition of the famous Monza. 1 OF 3 Launched in 1976, the watch was Jack Heuer's gift to Ferrari's Formula One team to celebrate their (then) partner's surprising title-winning season. A win which Heuer felt deserved an exceptional design C and in the '70s a PVD-coated watch certainly hit the nail on the head. 2 OF 3 The latest version of the Monza re-introduces key features from the original, such as the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale, the original font on the dial, and Heuer's pre-TAG logo. I am 100% comfortable working on my Rolex bracelets and PAM straps, etc. So any tips you guys can provide for how to take a few links out would be greatly appreciated. More specifically...1) What is the correct size screwdriver? I am thinking 1.42) Can someone describe the method of attachment in greater detail? Is it a single screw style pin (like an oyster bracelet) or is it a two-part pin with screw heads on both ends that requires two screwdrivers?3) With a new Rolex, I will usually gently heat the bracelet under very hot water to loosen any factory loctite, etc and it works like a charm. Will that technique be sufficient here? And finally, any other tips/tricks you guys can offer I would be most appreciative of. Like I said, I am comfortable with

a "I am sorry" question? LOL
So I have now heard salespeople say omega as it is spelled and o-me-ga as in omeeega. Which is proper? Was looking at The orange bezel seamaster today. The manager told me It would be $3,195.00 out the door. That sound like a good deal to you guys?
Which one dial do you prefer for the 5960 1a ? Black or white?
Just wondering which dial our members prefer for the 5960 1a . Comments and suggestions appreciated.
