Hello everybody! I have been looking at the 44mm Novelties for a long time. Finally, I had the chance to try them on. I am very tempted!! I am in love with the white dial Panda. I think that is going to be my purchase. Also, I really enjoyed the white dial Diver a lot more than I had expected. What does everybody think? Also, the stainless 44mm is around $28K after the tax rebate. Good deal?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What will be the model number?
HelloI saw an Omega watch with a leather bracelet that had a person that was similar to the Coaxial Master of 41mm but that did not have in the dial the small numbers that it has this around the bezel and that the calendar was at the height of the number 3 not at the height of 6. It does not say on the dial more than Omega. No more words. I do not think it's a chronometer. Do they have an ideal model? To know the price, I was interested. Thank you very much.
Independent Omega servicers in San Francisco Bay Area?
Folks, I'm interested in picking up a used speedy. The watch is dated around 1999 and there is no known service history. So I figured I'd have it service and at the same time, do a couple of mods. Does anyone have a watch repair/service person they'd recommend in the San Francisco Bay Area? Or heck, anywhere, I'd be willing to send the watch out as well.
Another incoming...
Some of you may have seen my post at the weekend over my dilemma as to whether or not to add a 116519 to the collection.Well...the responses helped me decide and so today I did what had to be done! This will not replace my 116500, but will compliment it as it offers such a different look.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PVD/DLC talk - post your pics
Pros: -Looks awesome-Unique-People see it as a statement or rareCons:-Rolex won't touch a coated watch so you have to service it at another center (but, you can de-coat it and they will service it for you after it's restored to its original state)-PVD tends to wear off and rack up scratches after a while and its not pretty (can't say it adds character on this one) but depending on the quality of the coating it can make it more or less scratch resistant. -DLC apparently makes the steel a few times stronger than normal.Im curious to know what everybody thinks of a PVD/DLC watch and how many have them? Lets see some photos! Here's my 116334Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
