Smudge inside crystal looking for advice.
I purchased this watch from a seller in Turkey and it was delivered to Canada today. Trying to figure out if this smudge is condensation from the journey and if that is normal? It is a late 2016 watch so supposed to be practically new and never opened etc. Comes with all boxes and papers. The price was good so if its not a big issue I would like to keep it.
PO returned.
This is embarrassing guys, but confirms a lesson I should know by heart. In less than 15 days I returned the PO 2208.50. I was really happy to have it back, but the reason why I sold it in the first place was still there and nothing I could do about it. This is not the first time I buy a watch back and get rid of it again, but less than two weeks is impressive so I hope I'll never make this mistake again.
Lumed Bezels?
Does anyone else here think the next evolution with the new sports models will be that they come with lumed numbering and markers on the bezels rather than the platinum dust? I'm sure I see a patent somewhere for Rolex filed with pictures a few years back?
Next Rolex...
My small, modest collection consists of a Speedy Pro, Tag Heur Monaco, Eterna Kontiki, and the BLNR. At this point, I don't want to flip any as they are each special to me in their own way. I'd like to add another Rolex at some point soon. I really like the SD43 and the Hulk. The white Daytona C looks amazing, but this is not a realistic option for me from and AD and the premium is too steep. I don't wear suits to work. A nice shirt/polo and slacks usually suffice. I don't think I need a dress watch at this point and when I do, the Monaco usually works pretty well for me. Right now, I'd say it's between the sd43 and hulk, but I'm definitely open to other suggestions. Thanks so much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
