Speedy Pro Crown/Wind Question
Hi all. I have handled 2 speedy pros lately both 1863s. One while winding, the crown would reverse slightly as I released it to regrip for another turn. The second had no reverse in it at all while winding. Why the difference?Thank you.
Strap maker rankings
I've been flipping PAM straps now for a couple of years & for now have pretty much settled on a stable collection of 7 or 8. I've tried a wide range but now gravitate toward finished edges & less beat up looking straps.After having ordered straps from a bunch of prominent strap makers, here is how I would rank them in general. Obviously a very subjective list & perhaps had I ordered a different strap from some of these I would have had a different impression. Three days in...
And my first incoming of 2018 is here...Happy New Year TRF! Last week I made an appointment to have my last purchase appraised and needless to say that I felt like a kid in a candy store with a number of cases filled with watches. I spotted something that I liked, asked to try it on and was amazed since I had never seen one in person before. I wasn't planning on purchasing another watch anytime soon since I wanted to get my first PM Rolex later this year. Spent a week thinking about the watch, debating whether to get it or not.
