Today, HSNY and HODINKEE are teaming up to announce Watchmaking 101, a revitalized version of this initiative. 2 OF 63 Watchmaking 101 is a single-session class in which professional watchmakers teach students will learn how a mechanical watch movement works and the fundamentals of using watchmaking tools. 1975 Speedmaster question..
Hi all, I recently acquired a 1975 Omega Speedmaster model ST176.0012 and wondered why the screw down back is inscribed with Seamaster..I have checked other day dates from that era, and this seems correct. Why is this??
Any value to "open" signed Panerai warranty?
A year ago, I picked up a lightly used L series Luminor with an in house movement. Given its age I did not ask and the seller did not mention the warranty status. This morning, while boxing it up for service, I discovered the warranty page is AD stamped and signed, the serial number is entered, but the date and purchaser are blank. So, given the watch was produced in 2009, is there any value to adding my name and the date I purchased the watch?
